The colleges include two kinds of living accommodations:
residence halls and apartments. The small scale of UC
Santa Cruz’s residence halls and apartment buildings
creates comfortable neighborhoods for students.

Other University-Sponsored
Housing
UC Santa Cruz offers a variety of other university-sponsored
housing, both on- and off-campus. Options include the
Village, a unique student housing community designed
for continuing, new transfer, and graduate students;
the University Inn and Conference Center, a five-story
complex that houses students in spacious double and
single bedrooms in an off-campus location; and the University
Town Center in downtown Santa Cruz, which houses students
in double and triple rooms with kitchenettes and private
baths.

Family Student Housing
UC Santa Cruz offers on-campus housing for students
and their families with or without children. A licensed
child care service is also available.

A 42-space camper park is available on campus for students
with their own recreational vehicles.

UC Santa Cruz Dining
You can eat at any of the dining halls on campus, as well as the University Inn dining hall in downtown Santa Cruz, regardless of your college affiliation. A variety of healthy choices are available at every meal. Meals-to-go and late-night dining are popular options. Organic produce is supplied by a group of seven local organic farms, including the Farm at the UCSC Center for Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems.
