Supportive Connections

Your college serves as a supportive base that helps connect you with the many opportunities available at UC Santa Cruz.

Each college has a team of staff and faculty dedicated to shaping the life of the college and helping you succeed. These supportive connections help familiarize you with the opportunities available at the university. College orientation workshops and academic advising assist you in completing degree requirements and deciding upon a major. The college staff help students organize many kinds of college and campus-wide activities. College-based student senates advise the administration on the use of student funds and participate in campus student government.

Housing

The colleges include two kinds of living accommodations: residence halls and apartments. The small scale of UC Santa Cruz's residence halls and apartment buildings creates comfortable neighborhoods for students.
